Sizzling pair of Priyanka
chopra and Akshaye Khanna again!
Until now we thought that in
Salaam-E-Ishq, Priyanka Chopra is paired with Salman Khan and
Akshaye Khanna with Ayesha Takia. But suddenly a song sequence pops
up, in which Priyanka is seen dancing with Akshaye— Who knows, maybe
this is the twist in the tale that Nikil Adwani has got up his
sleeves!
If you remember correctly Priyanka and Akshaye had a sizzling
on-screen chemistry in Dharmesh Darshan’s Aap Ki Khatir. But they
took a lot of time to open up, mainly because of the introverted
nature of Akshaye. But soon Akshaye decided to break the ice and
they got along fine after that.
In Salaam-E-Ishq Priyanka is playing an item girl and this peppy
song number ‘Saiyyan’ with Akshaye is considered to be one of the
highlights of the film. The song can be best described as a
‘qawalli’ with some western fusion incorporated to it.
Shankar Mahadevan and Shilpa, supported by Loy Mendonca, sing it.
This spirited number will only add to the expectation that is
soaring sky high as the releasing date January 25 is getting closer
